I can't believe how long it's been since I've posted to my journal! I really have no idea that time is passing. :) Life is busy and boring, of course. I work in a coffee shop. I eat. I fight with my brothers. I sleep. I still have Chewie (my Sheltie) and I still live with Dad. *sigh* Nothing worth reading about.

If any of my fellow Star Wars fans are interested, I know someone who's selling a copy of Under Black Sun
on eBay. That's the extremely rare Young Jedi Knights compilation- I paid thirty bucks for mine a couple of years back. And then I caught one of my brothers using it as a drink coaster.
Happy easter egg hunts!! May the Force be with you. Current Mood: complacent

Well, Easter is on its way! I remember when I was little, and my brothers and I used to have egg hunts in the front yard. All of the pink eggs were for me, and they all had little Star Wars toys inside of them. And of course also Butterfingers. *yum*
I also love rainy season- it's rainy season now, and Nate and I would run through the mud in the backyard, pretending we were on Degobah. Which I probably spelled wrong- forgive me, I'm really, really sleepy right now.
Hey... they added a "Current Location" field. Why do I never notice these things?! Current Mood: exhausted

You know what else I like? Indiana Jones. Of course, he and Han Solo are played by the same person (I *heart* Harrison Ford), so it's technically like they're the same person, so it's no wonder.

Oh yeah. Have I mentioned how completely, totally annoying my brothers are being today? Guess why! Superbowl Sunday! Arg! That's why I'm hiding out at the computer- avoiding them. They're all screaming at the TV and shouting and cheering and eating about ten bags of tortilla chips EACH. And as if thats not terrible, Vic, Nate and Bailey want 1 team to win, and KC and Jeff want the other to win.
So several of them are going to be more grouchy than normal tonight. I assure you.
Lucky me! Current Mood: Hissing at brothers
Ding. The brothers decided to get dad a Beatles cd for his b-day, even though none of us knows the slightest bit about the Beatles. So I have no idea what to do.
I looked at a couple at the store, but they had really weird covers- like the yellow submarine one.
Darn. Why did dad have to like the Beatles more than Star Wars? If you want Star Wars things, I'm your girl. But I am clueless in this case.

Vell, vell, vell! I finally come back online and they've changed everything! Oh, well, changes are a part of life.
Finally settled back down on Endor... bla bla bla, and so on with my little Star Wars role-playing life.
Elmer and Chewie both escaped this morning... I had to drive with Nate all the way to the Bigfoot gas station because somehow our silly dogs ended up there. So that was how my day was spent... chasing them. Vic's moved out of the house again, which made me really sad... I'm seriously considering going to live with him, even though if I do, poor dad will be all alone with the other 4 brothers and all the male hormones... ha ha. And also, I'd really miss Nate. I really miss Vic as it is, and some people think it's dumb for me to live with him- he's 19, and he's got his own life. But ever since Mom died, he's said I can come stay with him any time. So... what to do? Huh? I just dunno.
Geep, didn't mean to go into the entire family history here... but sometimes it's good to get it off my chest.

Thank goodness I'm back! Nate had to go and get our internet priviledges suspended until the end of time. Now I can't even really remember where I was in my whole role-playing deal. Something about a spy at the Rebel Base and me being in hiding...
Oh well, it's good to be back anyway! My friends are in the background, arguing about Natalie Portman's acting ability... I'm not physically capable of saying anything negative about Star Wars.
Ohh... my poor community is dead since I never had the time to manage it. Dear me...

Well... we've finally reached Tattoine. We're grounded on the outskirts of someplace, not sure, stuck in the middle of a whirling dust storm with no power. I think going to this length to protect me is ridiculous. As soon as everything is stable and I receive word from Captain Hung, I am heading right back to Hoth. Even though I hate it there, too. What I really want is to go home, to a place that no longer exists, to Alderaan...
Today (this is from Markie, the real me) Vic came home with a basset hound! Have you ever heard of a more random dog? Some guy at the Flying J where he works was giving them away. Dad wasn't too happy about another dog, especially since my Chewie keeps leaving peach pits all over the floor to be stepped on. But the boys and I outnumbered him. Unfortunately, he and the boys outnumbered me when it came to what to name him. I suggested something from Star Wars, naturally, like Sy Snootles. My brothers named it Elmer Fudd. (Oh. My. Gosh.) Current Mood: awake

You know, I don't think I ever actually mentioned any details about my real life to you, aside from my pesty brothers. Not one. So, here are a few so you know who you're dealing with:
Gender: Girl (duh)
Hair color: Brown
Well, I gotta run. Nate and I are watching all the Star Wars films (we started at 11:30), and it's time to start The Empire Strikes Back, and my second bag of popcorn. Tonight is so great!!! ---Markie... Princess Leia Current Mood: hyper

I think that livejournal should come up with a list of "dislikes". If they did, I would put "brothers" on it first.
No, I don't mean Luke!
I adore him, but he's just my role-playing brother. Real life brothers are so much worse- especially when they come in large numbers.
Nate just read this over my shoulder and laughed. I love Nate and Bailey, but my older brothers are just pests. I watched A New Hope today, which is so my favorite, and KC sat with me and made fun of it the whole time!! And then Vic started complaining that he needed to watch his football game and Jeff put his feet in my lap until I got so annoyed at their teasing that I spent the rest of the night in my room, thoroughly not enjoying Star Wars.
Now Vic just read this over my shoulder and started teasing me again. Can't I ever get any privacy?! No, he just said. Five brothers is too many. Current Mood: cranky

I just created my first intergalactic community. So far, the only other member is the First Lady of the Galaxy (lovepeace137) and her husband, Zaphod Beeblebrox, but that's okay for now.
Well, we managed to reprogram the power circuits and are on our way out of the asteroid field as of this morning... destined for Tattoine, except that we're slightly lost at the moment. It's all right; I'm in no hurry.
Tuesday, August 30th, 2005
We travled through an asteroid belt that, we believe, was producing some sort of radio signal that has interfered with our power... we can no longer send or receive transmissions, and I'm lucky I could connect long enough to post here because our electricity keeps shutting down. I don't know why,
and it's a little unnerving.
So we're more or less stranded here on an asteroid floating through space, while Han swears at the control panel and Anakin is climbing the walls of the Falcon and Luke keeps trying to be helpful by reminding us that at least no one knows my location, so I am probably in no danger, unless the source of the elecromagnetic energy is a civilization.
Uh oh- keyboard going-
Monday, August 8th, 2005
A hectic life I lead, I only have a moment to update... we have not found out yet whether or not the men back at the base discovered anything about the spy. They hesitate to contact me for fear that the transmissions will be intercepted. In the meantime, Han has been acting very overprotective, and has since insisted that I leave Kashyyyk for multiple other, more remote planets, trying to confuse anyone who might be on my trail. At this early stage I am not sure, but I am glad that Han is all of a sudden showing a human amount of concern for his wife.
On the action figure front, I got the other R2-D2, and finally got my hands on the sneak preview of Tion Medon!! Current Mood: busy
Monday, July 25th, 2005
Anakin wandered off again today, and I'm getting tired of worrying. There's too much trouble for a two year old to find on Kashyyyk... last time he wandered off, he found his way onto the swampy ground and got his feet stuck in the mud. The time before that, he about strangled himself with a vine. The time before that, he found his way into a meeting of the elderly Wookiees, and they were really annoyed with him after that. (He likes to sit on their feet while they try to walk. Terrible twos? You got it.) Current Mood: crappy
Saturday, July 16th, 2005
We received a transmission that the men back on Hoth have captured the spy... but that is all we know. I'm hoping that they begin the interrogation, and soon. Meanwhile, I've become fascinated with the treetop life of the Wookiees... Current Mood: curious
Tuesday, July 12th, 2005
Shortly after descent the X-wing fighter disapeared from our radar without a trace. Some of the men here have reason to believe that a spy has been sent to Hoth, to observe our old Rebel Base. I hope it's not so, but they believe there is an organization wishing to once again establish the Empire. If there is... the troubles have only begun.
With this X-wing fighter somewhere upon Hoth's frozen surface, I had to leave the planet upon Han's return. I wanted to stay behind and supervise the investigation, but the Rebels insisted that, as the Princess, I must keep myself out of danger.
So Han and I flew off in the Falcon and left Luke to do his work on Tattoine, and this morning he and I arrived on Chewbacca's home planet of Kashyyyk. The trees towered over us, and we were greeted warmly by the Wookiees. So for the time being we will stay here and wait for developments in this new suspicion in the redevelopment of the Empire.

Ah hah! The tail jet is fixed!!
Now I just have to wait for Han to return. He's hiking across Hoth so he can purchase fuel and supplies from the outpost. I'm getting worried, though. Outside the cold is unbearable, and the snow so thick I can barely see through it...
Luke picked up an X-wing fighter on the radar. I wonder who could possibly be out this far... and what business do they have here?

At last; I finally got the last two Star Wars Burger King toys that I needed! Yay! I tried that Burger King on State Street, and the guy who was working there dug through all the kids' meal bags so that he could show me which toys they had left. They had R2-D2 and
Watto, and I was so thrilled I about died right there. And then, to make things even better, the guy gave me R2-D2 with my meal and Watto for free!
The workers in Hoth Burger Kings are really nice. Current Mood: cheerful

You know, I think Jesus would be quite effective if he returned to the theme music of Star Wars.
